Steven Sher at Mystic Mountain Craft Brew Pub by Michael Dekel of Meta/ Phor-e /Play
Great reading, great evening at Mystic Mountain in Tzfat's Artist Quarter in January. This brewery serves the best micro-brew porter on tap!
From Voices Israel President Susan Olsburgh's letter in the February 2019 Newsletter:
The poetry event in Tsafat last week was very enjoyable. Kol haKvod to Reuven Goldfarb for arranging everything so well. The photos give a little flavour of the evening held at the Mystic Mountain Studio and Brewery.
The event was a first joint poetry reading of Voices Israel and members of the International Association of Writers in Israel (IAWE). Apart from his own poems, Reuven invited the audience to listen to poems written and read by Ann Bar-Dov, Yehudit Goldfarb, Pesach Rotem, Professor Shlomo Sher, Michael Dekel and Michael Kagan.
An additional unexpected item was the request by young girls studying in the area who asked to recite some of their poems. They showed an amazingly strong style and content and we shall try to offer support and encouragement to these young poets. It was also good to meet new Tsafat chapter member Miriam Botzer.

It was truly a mystical evening as I made two Oregon connections. This picture shows me with Louis and Debby Hammer, cousins of a dear friend, Amy, in Corvallis.
