It is a great honor to be the 2018 recipient of The Glenna Luschei Distinguished Poet Award to be given in conjunction with the 35th Annual San Luis Obispo Poetry Festival, which runs on two consecutive weekends in November. I am privileged to have the opportunity to share my work with many notable writers and the Festival's great audience.

I will be joining others who are reading on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm at the Coalesce Bookstore/Wedding Chapel at 845 Main Street in Morro Bay, CA. [Click here for further details and updates for this event on my Facebook page.]

The annual Poetry Festival, in partnership with the San Luis Obispo County Library, Glenna Luschei and partial support from Poets&Writers, is a notable event whose mission is:

To encourage the writing, reading and listening of literature; To raise the quality of literary arts in the county of San Luis Obispo by providing award winning poets, writers and local authors a venue in the community to read.

Since the 1980s, the Festival has attracted quality writers who are interested in sharing and learning from one another. This year's event promises to be a thought-provoking and inspiring experience. I hope you can join me there.
